Will & Libby Moments—August 2008

We drove from Prescott to Crown King to Humboldt-Dewey all on dirt roads.
Our average speed was 5-10 mph. It was about 30 miles on narrow 4x4 roads
to Crown King from Prescott. It was amazing how much this part of AZ looks
like CA. Then 30 miles from Crown King to the 17-North back to Prescott
Valley. This part really reminded me ofPalmdale , lots of scrub bushes
and the like. The last 30 miles of dirt were almost worse then the first.
It was higher speed but all washed out and washboard like.

I feel a little more confidence in the truck now. I'm changing out the
spark plugs, wires, and dis cap in a little while or tomorrow. I'll have
to take you guys up into the area when you visit. Dad, Libbie loved the '22.
She had the biggest grin on her face the whole time. I wish we could have
stayed longer and shot more. We both shot about 12 or so rounds. We would
have stayed longer but we still had over 45 miles to cover at
  about 5-10 mph.

Crown King is a cool little old Mining town. We'll have to visit it
when you come. I hope your weekend is going great. Its been really nice
and cool here the last couple of days. Me and Lib went and sawMongel last
night. It was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I highly
suggest you and Dad go see it.

Hugs and kisses to everyone (and kittens and dogs)

-William
